Description
Our XBB PowerUnit 6 can be used as a complement to your existing XBB installation, with the advantage of offering more outputs than our standard XBB PowerUnit.
If you work as a vehicle upfitter or installer, the PowerUnit 6 may be the preferred choice, as it provides access to six outputs instead of two, giving you greater flexibility when controlling multiple accessories and electrical functions.
It is also an excellent choice for users who have multiple auxiliary lights or LED bars on their vehicle and want the ability to control different lights or position lights individually.
Just like the standard XBB PowerUnit®, up to four units can be connected to a single XBB Dongle, giving you access to as many as 24 outputs if required.
To function, the XBB PowerUnit 6® needs to be connected to either an XBB Dongle® or our product PP-CAN-FD®. Both of these products work by listening to the vehicle's CAN-bus data, allowing them to identify which functions are activated in the car, such as high beams, reverse lights, ignition, and more.
The signals are then transmitted via Bluetooth (BLE 5) to your XBB PowerUnit® product, which activates the various outputs based on how you have configured the XBB PowerUnit® in the app.
Depending on the recipe you have selected in the app, different signals are available. Refer to the list of compatible car models for details.

More ways to control your XBB PowerUnit®
XBB Dashboard is a built-in feature of the XBB Configurator® app that allows you to create your own virtual button panel within the app. With it, you can control the different outputs and view real-time values from your car, such as battery voltage and more.
You also have the option to add a strobe light function, PWM control for outputs, and more. The various buttons in the app can be customized, allowing you to change symbols, adjust colors, and more directly within the app.
**Note!** The XBB Dashboard® feature is still under development, and there is a lot of work remaining to make it more user-friendly. Please be patient—it’s going to be amazing!
